A Flight of Deer

Deer inhabit the lands at the edge of cities, highways and farms evading man. Filmed in the mountains, prairies and aspen parklands, we see a pregnant doe in the early stages of giving birth and big antlered bucks sparring. The behaviour of the evasive whitetail is compared to that of the less secretive mule deer. Beautiful and elusive, they briefly cross the boundaries of our lives leaving our thoughts to pursue them as they slip away into the shadows of their wilderness.
