This series of five short films explore the diverse habitats and wildlife that inhabit the North American prairie. Shortgrass Prairie part 1 explores the harsh winter and arrival of spring on the prairies. Shortgrass Prairie part 2 examines the abundant life of summer and the preparations of fall. Prairie Coulee looks at the life around a coulee. Snakes, Scorpions and Spiders shows the lives of these three feared species. Prairie Slough looks at the role of the slough.
